Standing The Taste of Time

It takes time to age a fine whiskey. Too much time according to some.

So makers are trying to speed the process up a bit by introducing some music based aging. The thinking goes that the vibrations of the music speeds up the maturation process.

Called, ‘sonic aging,’ the process apparently works well on various drinks from beers to wine and especially whiskey. Years work can be done in days.

With food and drink pairings quite common, we may soon be getting used to music pairings as well.
