As previously mentioned, The Cure had a residency at The Sydney Opera House to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album Disintegration as part of the VIVID festival.
With all shows a sell out, fans of the band around the world were grateful for a live stream of the event.
Starting with a selection of B sides and outtakes from the period, the band then went into performing the album in its entirety. Rounding off the set with the song, Three Imaginary Boys (which is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary) and a cover of Wendy Waldman’s Pirate Ships.
Even the outside of the Opera House got in on the fun.
