This bureau is on record for not being a fan of social media and even calls it Junk Media.
But instead of just complaining a solution needs to be offered. That solution stems from the dictum, Every writer needs an editor.
Whether it be an actual person or some sort of automated process the world’s social media needs an editorial process. An editor (or sub-editor) assesses the suitability of a piece and edits as necessary. They may do some lay out work as well.
How do we get that to actually work? I don’t know. Greater minds than mine will solve that, but it’s evidently clear it needs to be done.
