Boffins at the Rijksmuseum have used AI to recreate the Rembrandt masterpiece The Night Watch in all its un-cropped glory.
The work had been cropped so as to fit in between two doorways in Amsterdam’s city hall.
Making use of AI technology and contemporary copies of the original experts have recreated what was the Dutch master’s original vision.
