Timing is everything for a railway station and that’s especially true for the legendary Canfranc station on the Spanish-French border.
The international railway station was a product of its time, but unfortunately was built after that time.

Fortunately it’s set for a new lease of life as a hotel which will, not as much return it to glory, but to give it some in the first place.
If all goes to plan people who soon be all aboard and stopping there.
