Designer Paul Smith is best known for his fashion label, but that hasn’t turned him off from trying his creative skills in other areas. He’s now turned his attention to another British design icon, the Mini.
Taking a stripped, back less is more approach – makes sense given the Mini’s modest physical presence – with as much as possible stripped away from the chassis, this design even exposes imperfections in the metalwork.
In these modest times, the design certainly fits the times, but if anyone is hoping to pick one up for themselves, they will be left disappointed as this version of the car is not expected to go into production.
