Hanging out at cemeteries may be now seen more of a pastime of the more darkly dressed of society, but in the past it was more of a mainstream past time.
A lack of alternative recreation areas was the main reason for the practise, but with alternatives a bit more plentiful nowadays, it would not be expected that large numbers of people will be dying to go back.
