The yellow in the now famous Ukrainian flag represents wheat – given that the country is a major exporter of wheat. With the war though, that has curtailed that export ability.
This has meant that prices have gone up and while other exporters are hoping to bridge the gap, wheat (and other crops) prices are set to remain high for quite some time.
This war has already extended beyond Ukraine’s borders. It’s not a conventional war, but an economic one and there are bound to be casualties.
