Authoritarian regimes have to portray perfection. Otherwise they give their population a reason to get rid of them.
All of those countries will struggle to maintain their perfection or course and as the veil slips the population in turn starts to complain.
Because ultimately all countries are democracies – it’s just a matter of people being pushed too far.
