The soundtrack to the fifth instalment of a kids movie franchise is not something that usually excites this bureau, but the soundtrack to The Rise of Gru could well be an exception due to it being so strange.
Featuring multi generational talents from Diana Ross to St Vincent and Tame Impala to, bureau favourite, H.E.R., the soundtrack consists of new versions of classic tracks.
It’s quite a bizarre mix, yet somehow it works – which is quite the rare occurance.
