Apple has announced that it will now add the feature of animated art work in its music player.
This keeps up with YouTube’s music player which naturally tended towards animated artwork given that its raison d’être is a video player.
The visuals to go with the music listening experience is expanding beyond just the ‘faster horse‘ concept that most artwork has on digital music players in the past.
Vinyl is till the best visual peripheral for music listening, but it’s good to see that digital music players are adding features that are outside the box and make use of the medium in a way that only they can.
