Premium case maker, Golden Concept, have produced a series of Apple Watch cases for those that want to add a luxurious touch to their wrist gadget while acknowledging that they will swap their watch in a couple of years.
When the Apple Watch was first announced, a lot of consternation was over the gold model. Not only was it’s price exorbitant, but there was the problem that it would be useless in a couple of years. Those gold Apple Watches are now useless.
The cases aren’t cheap, but at least they are reusable on the next version of the watch. It’s also a sound concept as it may open the idea to more manufacturers to create other cases at other price points. This will allow wearers to choose a case that reflects their own personality in the same way that phone cases do.
