Dark Emu by David Pascoe is a book that takes a look at the the agricultural, engineering and construction achievements of Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders before colonisation.

The achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples has long been under appreciated so this book is a good start to readdressing this.
During NAIDOC Week this is a good time to engaging with truth as part of a reconciliation process.
