That celebrated coda of a meal – the dessert – is as much celebrated as the main meal, if not more so.

It’s also just as subject to trends and fads as is the main meal which can be quite the challenge to keep up with. But why decide? Why not have it all, dessert-speaking?

The Burwood Hotel doesn’t think people should decide. So they’ve invented the Dalgona Bobamisu.

Dalgona coffee foam is folded into eight stacked layers of coffee-soaked ladyfinger biscuits, mascarpone cream cheese, and thick Biscoff spread. Brown sugar-flavoured tapioca pearls and a chocolate wafer finish it off.

And it may finish off the eater as well.

Dropping Meals

Font Cafe does something very ordinary in an extraordinary way. On its menu, you will find French toast, but it looks decidedly different at Font.


Somewhere under all that is bread.

Font Cafe’s version of French toast may seem overly focused on appearing on social media feeds and may be a challenge to even complete. Yet it’s hard to deny the sweet appeal of this dish with such a delectable pedigree.
