Masked Royalty

The penchant for royalty fashion followers to sezie upon any trend that the young royals find an interest in has done some good for once with the Duchess of Cambridge causing the sellout of a mask she was spotted wearing.

The mask was produced Amaia, a maker of kids fashion.

Now that they’ve been given royal endorsement, the masks have sold out and the firm is scambling for new stock.

This bureau particularly likes the seersucker aqua.

This a lot of good coming out of this trend: A business is keeping the revenue coming in and an increase number of people are wearing masks. Let’s hope a few more royal trends do the same in the future.

Reused Breathing

One of the many negatives about the current pandemic is that recycling culture has gone out the window.

One of the many items that are now being used once and thrown away are the surgical masks that many are wearing. Can anything be done about that?

It’s a UV mask that includes a passive air filter, and Sterile-Vortex active protection, with claims that it filters and purifies 99.99% of air 10x faster than you can breathe.

UV light has been subject to a wide range of misinformation (no, you can not just rely on sitting out in the sun), but under this mask is some science to back the concept up.

Most importantly it’s reusable. See more on its Kickstarter page.
