It doesn’t seem that long ago since the Sydney Film Festival was on. This is understandable given that it had a delayed timing last year being held in October. This year it’s back to its usual timing in June and its first round of films has been announced.
The documentaries are always a favourite with the first batch of films including some top selections like Calendar Girls – about 60+ aged dance group – and Sirens – about a female thrash metal group from Lebanon.
This is sure to be another great year for the festival.
