Continuing on with the chess theme from yesterday, news has hit this bureau that the Netflix smash The Queens Gambit is to be converted into a musical.
It’s not the craziest idea for chess to be the basis of a musical (Noting that The Queen’s Gambit isn’t really about chess) as it was done before by ABBA alumni Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.
It produced the hit, One Night In Bangkok, which is a bit of a bureau favourite.
